Silent hill 2

So today I finished silent hill 2 for the first time since i finished it for 14 years ago. This time I understod the story better, got more emotional involved with the characters. Oh man what a great game, it gotta be one of the best phsycological horror games out on the market.

I got the "Maria" ending and at the end Mary (James late wife) reads her final letter to James, explaining her feelings, and are mist regretful towards how she became as a person with this illness she had. Just hearing her reading this letter made my eyes full of tears. Its so sad and yet feels so close to a reality many people alive have witnessed. 

To think that a game from the Playstation 2 era could bring such an deep and emotional story is mindblowing. Too bad Konami choosed to scrap Silent Hill PT because I think that would have been a life saved game for Konami.

With this said I'll need to get to bed because work calls my name early in the morning. Tomorrow (tuesday) we'll start the playthrough of silent hill 3.
