Yeah I´m starting this with an sorry, sorry for not being online and streaming as much as I would want to or uploading videos to youtube or updating this blog. However I´ve just got an Elgato game capture device and right now I´m putting up more and more videos and streams of games I´m playing. Game #98 Max Payne

The first game that I played through on this list is actually #98 Max Payne 3. And the reason for that is that I´ve beaten #100 Donkey Kong Country Multiple times and I didn´t get the wii u properly installed for my capture card. However, I will be playing those two games soon that I promise.

Anyway, Max Payne 3 is one of my favourite games for the last generation consoles. And there´s plenty of reasons why. The first reason is the story, never before have I come across such a cool way. It´s kinda like it´s being presented like a comic book with different slides coming up with headliners and showing of different things. Max has this time come to Sao Paolo to become a bodyguard but things happens and Max is now working against the time to get his clients wife back in one piece.

The graphics are still looking good today although the game was released 4 years ago (2012), the player feels the pain everytime Max throws himself and hits the ground, you can see the pain spread through Max´s facial expressions.

Gameplay it´s like the two Max Payne games before, you jump in bullettime, take cover and shoot a lot of bad guys. Sure some badguys are like bulletsponges who can take 15 bullets before going down, however a headshot always do the trick.

I really recommend this game, what you´ll get is a 7-10 hour long action packed game with a great story and character depth to please anyone. This game is like playing a great action movie from the 80s, kinda like Die Hard meets Rambo.

okey so you guys already seen the game list that will be played, yeah it got a bit changed yesterday, the reason was that I wanted Max Payne 3 more in the list than Tales of Vesperia. Another thing I really hope on a bit of donations to be able to buy a game capture card that allows me to stream from my snes, n64 and Gamecube.

And if there´s any more good things happening while I play through the list of games I might be able to add bonus games that you guys, the viewers asks for! :)

Nintendo Month Event!

It is time to go back to one of my favourite gaming companies, Nintendo. The time has finally arrived for Super Mario Week, Metroid Week, Zelda Week and so on! :D It starts today with a long but fun week of Super Mario games! :D

Pokemon gaming...

Took a break from donkey kong country speed run practice today and played Pokemon red instead. I don't know sure I enjoy playing Pokemon Y but I miss all the old school pokemons such has rattata, geodude, sandshrew and so on! My favorite one are squirtle, love that Pokemon, sure I'm not overly amused with his second form but his first and third, love them! 

Donkey Kong Country speedrun!

Yeah so uhm where to start? I have felt like I want to get really good at one game for a long time, so what game? First I was in to being a speedrunner for Mega Man but now I have recently begun to speedrun Donkey Kong Country 1 for the SNES. Yeah I´m still in the process of learning every stage, minimize my death count, and getting glitches and stuff to work, so right now I´m a newbie but hey it´s shit load of fun tho.

I will continue this a while now (probably a year or two) because I really want to nail this speedrunner thing with DKC!

So all the support I can get from you guys would be awesome! :D

Yeah so I'm playing some smb3 before Its time for some sleep! World 3 airship here we go! 

Ah man what a great day!

So today I've been offline from stream and recording and just been playing games on consoles that I can't stream from (yet). It started off with some bubble bobble on the nes with my soon to be wife! It almost took me 30 minutes to get the game to work. But man it was worth it! Bubble bobble is such a fun game (in small doses).

And later today a friend of mine came over and we played Contra 3 for the snes, chip n dale for the nes, B.O.B. For the snes, super Mario all stars in which we played super Mario 2 and lastly we played Mario maker! Such fun games!

To be honest I've never beaten super Mario 3... Yeah I know I really should do it. I probably will beat it now under my vacation.

First day of silent hill marathon is complete!

Okey so the first day of silent hill marathon is complete! I'm almost done with silent hill: origins and tomorrow I will beat it and silent hill 1. The third day I will be playing silent hill 3 and maybe silent hill 2. Day 4 will be silent hill 2 and silent hill 4 and the last day, day 5 will be for homecoming.

Taking it slow today!

Yeah so I'm kinda tired today, so here I was sitting at the computer and thought to myself what should I do? So I came up with an idea and that was to try and play castlevania chronicles and so I did! So far I've beaten 3 bosses and on the stage where medusa will come I had to turn of the console due to the thunder outside :/

I'm so freakin pumped to play silent hill games right now so right now I'm playing the first silent hill game on my psvita system. Like I told you guys earlier I got silent hill 4 on ps2 today and I'm going to get silent hill 3 later this month and man I'm so freaking pumped! 

I'm also thinking about letting you guys write games that you want me to play in my comments section and I will try to find them and play them and of course uploading a video (probably) more while I play them, how does that sound? 

Ah man I can't hold it anymore I need to return to silent hill now, see you guys tomorrow...

Okey so I´ve recently beaten Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and are soon going to continue with game # [18] Fable Anniversary but before that I have some other news to share with you guys!

First thing is I´ve recently bought Zelda 2: Links Adventure for NES, Silent Hill 4: The room and Silent Hill 3. Okey so what I´ve done is start to collect all my missing pieces for the marathon runs and I´ve started with these three games.

And the second thing is more like a question maybe(?), I´m thinking about starting to add some commentary while I stream, it both makes my stream much more enjoyable for the viewers and it will help me out explaining stuff that I do while playing. That is if I´m standing still and or pausing the game alot. So my question for you guys, should I do it?

Some Operation Raccon City stream today!

Yeah so I did some Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City stream today and it went pretty good, I faced of against the Tyrant from RE2 and a freaking broken Nemesis. I really enjoy playing this game, I understand why the game got some really nasty criticism but man I do think it´s a fun game to play, I wish I had 3 other friends who would enjoy playing it, because I do belive it would be an awesome multiplayer game.

And I also expanded on my Resident Evil collection with Resident Evil: Outbreak and Outbreak File 2. I have never beaten those games, I think I´ve only played the first one, however it´s time to freaking beat them now! :)

And I will probably continue on my Mega Man Marathon without my friend, just for you guys, and speaking of marathons here are two other marathons I´ve scheduled in the near future

Resident Evil Marathon (will probably spand over 5 days with 16 different games)

Silent Hill Marathon (will be over a 7 day period, 6 games in total)

Mega Man Marathon is live!

I´m so freaking happy!

So this is the latest, I´ve beaten Conkers Bad Fur Day (last night) so right now I´m uploading part 4 out of 5. So what I had forgotten about Conkers Bad Fur Day was that at some points of the game the difficulty really taps it up a notch, the game became insanely difficult the closer I got to the end. But finally as a I said I´ve beaten it. I now think I´m done with all the games that fell behind so right now I´m at the games [17] and [18] which are Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Fable Anniversary. And today I will be doing kinda like a Mega Man marathon starting off with Mega Man 1 and then continuing onwards! :)

I also hope that I´ll get my secondary harddrive for the xbox one which will be 4 TB and that will allow me to keep all my xbox one/360 games on the console which will enable me to do more and better streams.

New Event... probably! ^^

So I saw SGDQ (Summer Games Done Quick) today when they were running Mega Man 8, 3, 5 and 9 and I thought to myself why the hell not try to speedrun some mega man games!? So from now on I will be playing Mega Man 9(?) or some mega man game and try to start speedrunning them. Ofcourse I won´t play them all days but probably 3-4 out of 7 days :)

Okey so I´m a beginner at how uploading and fixing your videos works in youtube however I´m learning something new everyday about it so now I´ve started fixing annotations and stuff. :)

Yeah man finally some RPG/Action games. Fable series is somewhat a favorite by me, it´s easy to pick up, difficult to stop playing. I can spend hours after hours in the world of Albion. So I´m going for a physic character with good intentions, I have difficult playing evil in Fable games.

Back from the dead!

Finally my hangover is gone, and I´m back in the land of the mortals. I was not feeling all too well yesterday but man did I have fun!? :D It´s been a while since I had that much of fun! Well yesterday I beat Daxter and came further in Conkers Bad Fur Day so today/tonights stream I will be playing Conker until I´ve beaten it.. I think hahaha...

Okey I played Conkers Bad Fur Day alot today, I got past the Jurassic Area and are now at the start of the Undead area. I think it´s because I got the worse hangover today that I played like crap because I really sucked at both Daxter and Conker. However I will continue with Conker tomorrow night. But for now I´m signing off for some well earned sleep. :D

Bachelor party last night....

Sorry for not being able to write anything here yesterday but I were at my bachelor party and I got pretty f*cked up. Man oh man was I drunk, I even passed out but damn what fun we had! So today I will upload some new videos and stream some more, gonna try and beat either Daxter or Conker today.

Early mornings...

F*ck I really hate early mornings... Its My last day before vacation tho... So now the real gaming Will begin!!! 

I'm making progress!

Yeah like I've stated I'm making progress in conkers bad fur day. I've beaten two bosses and I have come to the Jurassic part of the game. Also tomorrow is my last day before summer vacation. Oh btw I will upload the video tomorrow promise!

Progress on Daxter

Not only did I beat Doom 4 today but I have also made some great advance in Daxter, i´m now in 60% completion of that game! I did around 4 or 5 levels and then I also spanked the hell out of a Queen (the second boss). I didn´t actually feel like playing that game today but man was I wrong, as soon as I started playing Daxter I couldn´t stop playing it, gotta love that game man! So todays video of it is kinda long but hey why not!?

And the reason I pause quite often when I play is because sometimes my daughter wakes up so I need to tend to her. I always play when she´s asleep because yeah when she´s awake I really want to spend my time with her.  :)

Weeey Doom is beaten!

Okey, so I´ve finally beaten Doom 4, and it was probably one of the cooler FPS games in later years. It was raw, violent and bloody as hell and action packed to the max. The bosses were awesome as well, some of them were kinda tricky but nothing that a bullet to the brain couldn´t stop!

And now it´s time to finish some other games such as Daxter, Conker and Operation Raccoon City!

Okey, so I´ve just finished my Doom stream and man that game is freaking awesome. I finished of the first boss which was pretty dangerous. It also feels like I´m getting near the ending of the game because damn the game throws big demons against me all the time now. This is really I game I recommend for the ones out there who are looking for a pure action game!

So I´ve started playing some resident evil: operation raccoon city (yeah I know I have multiple unfinished games on my list). It´s the first time I play it on pc and sure the game aint much better than to Xbox 360 but hey it´s still a resident Evil game and it´s freaking awesome for doing something new! :D

Yey thunder!!!

Yeah so today I´ve been visited by Thor the God of thunder... so there´s not really been any gaming except for some Final Fantasy Curtain Call on my 3DS. Damn there´s many songs in that game. I have been playing through every goddamn song from Final Fantasy 1 to Final Fantasy 11 now. Some songs are unfamiliar with me but those that I´m familiar with are so freaking good, love em.

But now I´m thinking about continuing on either Doom or getting my character to level 100 in WoW... not sure yet.

Ark: survival evolved!

That is a game that I´ve been playing like crazy today and it´s freaking awesome, sure it´s kinda slowpaced when you are waiting for leveling up but it´s cool as hell anyway! Here´s two new vids from todays plays of it!

Yey here´s an update!

Okey so tonight I have been with some friends as you could see earlier, and after that I played some Doom which I will show you guys here. But I also played the dino surviving minecraft look alike game Ark. That game I will play a hell of a lot more because damn it´s so freaking awesome!

Ark is kinda like a minecraft with new generation graphics set in jurassic park. I got killed by an freaking turtle btw...

A shit game of Gin Rummy!

And now we are playing a f*cking game of Gin Rummy and it goes as shit for me. Never been in to card games. Kinda feel like it has nothing with skills to do except poker that is but it feels like it has more to do with lady luck... Freaking shit, I want to play Doom 4 now!!!

Hanging out with friends!

So im hanging out with some friends and we are playing the very first Rayman game on the ps1. I had actually forgotten how freaking difficult this game is. This playthrough will not be uploaded to youtube but here is a picture of us backtracking in the game! 

Oh my head...

Yeah so midsummer was yesterday and today I´m having a hangover... however that will not stop me from playing through a lot of games, I have plans for continueing on Daxter, Doom, Conkers Bad Fur Day and probably do a run of Resident Evil has well... Probably. Or should I do Metal Slug 5 next?

Anyway yesterday was fun as hell, first we were at a midummer celebration in a place called Vånga where people danced around the midsummer wreath and stuff and after that we went to my wifes aunt and started drinking and stuff.

However I wanna play a game now and just drown in the bed...

So today we´ll celebrate midsummer here in sweden, I will get drunk and eat some rotten fish and someone will most likely puke so sorry there´s no show going off today (might stream something when I come home, not likely but might just do it). My first impressions of Doom!

Okay all so I have just spent 3 or 4 hours in the new Doom game and my impressions are... Well how should I put it without sounding like a crazy person... Happiness.

I have been shooting, smashing, chainsawed through enemies and blown them to pieces. Nothing that hell throws at me has been able to put me down. One new mechanic is that the player can finish off enemies with a cool looking melee attack, kinda like smashing the demons head with its own feet or kneeing the demons head so it explodes. The other new thing is with the chainsaw, instead of being unlimited melee weapon that looks kinda cool it's a fuel driven weapon which takes a certain amount of fuel to kill the enemy depending on how big it is. Of course it's a insta kill and it drops ammo for all weapons however the amount of fuel ain't that much, you start of by having only three "charges" but you can of course upgrade it. And speaking of upgrades you can now upgrade doom guy both your armor which powers up your abilities but also your weapons.

There seems to be a sh*tload of hidden stuff such as hidden rooms and collectibles. I haven't even been able to find everything in even one level which is freaking awesome. And the story is kinda like the usual thing, Mars gets invaded by hell because some humans experiment and its up to mr. Doom guy to stop the invasion. I really hope the story is longer than just 7 hours which is what most fps games story are.

This game does the same thing as doom 3 did, it takes the things that made doom into the game that people loves but does it own thing with it. So far I really enjoy playing this game.

Metal Slug Review

Okey so lets think back at a time where all the kids were hanging out in a arcade hall playing all different games. In that hall there´s one game that the kids puts all their money in and comes out happy as few and wanting to have another go at. The game is Metal Slug, an action arcade game where it´s the players goal to save the world against a terrorist organization with hell of a lot mechanized units.

The gameplay is kinda straight forward, the player goes from left to right while trying to dodge incoming projectiles. And man is there a lot of projectiles, sometimes the screen is full of enemies and projectiles so dying is something that the player will do multiple times. However it doesn´t feel impossible because the difficulty is right there. However playing it now you have the choice of infinite continue which is recommended for new players.

Sure the enemy as a lot of different arsenals to their advantages but the player gets some upgrades as well such as rocket launchers, shotgun, heavy machine gun and also some tanks that the player gets to ride. This evens out the odds a bit but only until you die. However there´s something in the game that keeps the player hooked all through the game and puts the player right in to the action which makes me wanna have more. And don´t forget to save those P.O.W. cause they will help you, plus they give sh*tload of points at the end of the level.

The soundtrack is awesome however sometimes it´s kinda difficult hearing what´s happening due to all the sounds from weapons firing and explotions.

Overall: 8.5
Verdict: This is a game that´s easy to pick up and difficult to put away, sure it´s war and sometimes might be a bit gritty but I would recommend this to everyone, mostly because the graphics is more cartoon than realistic and the gameplay is really is to learn but hard to master.

Okey so I have been playing through games 12, 13 and 14 now (all metal slug games), and on the 14th game I noticed how to get my videos in HD. How freaking awesome aint that? so now you´ll guys get HD quality in my videos! :)

And on my 25th game stream there might be a giveaway and then on the 50th, 75th and 100th game. ;)

So today I have beaten two new games which I will upload, and I try to write a short review for every game that I play (please let me know if thats something you guys want?), but the time isn´t there right now. However soon I will begin my summer vacation and then I will try to write as much as I can and play more games, more live streams and all.

Oh almost forgot, this weekend I will play the latest entry of the DOOM series, I will play the full game and you can tune in and watch it right here: Twitch

And as I mentioned earlier, there will be a two new games uploaded and here´s the first one:

Mega Man Review

Ok, the first Mega Man game maybe wasn´t a huge success which Capcom had hoped for but man it´s still fun as hell. It gives the player a challenge worth mentioning but still there are a couple of tricks which makes the game easier.

So the story is like the this, Dr. Wily takes over some friendly robots and turn them against humanity, Dr. Light creates Mega Man (or if he had already created him, can´t remember). Now it´s up to Mega Man to stop Dr. Wily by defeating the 6 robot master (oh yeah this is one of the only times there´s only 6).

The graphics aren´t the best (not even for NES) but it succed in telling a story, however the music is top notch, I really love the music from mega man games and the first one doesn´t dissappoint.

The gameplay is pretty much the same from the rest of the Mega Man games, you run to the right side of the screen, blasting enemies from left to right, collecting upgrades which are working better at different enemy types. This time it´s the Electric Man weapon which could be a bit overpowered but it doesn´t do anything because you could use all the help you can get.

I wish I had played this game more as a kid because this is one strong game that should not be forgotten.

Overall: 7
Verdict: This is a strong Mega Man game, sure it is built to be an arcade game from the beginning, collecting points and scoring hi scores but hell is it fun. This game is really recommended to all players.

Jak 2: Renegade Review!

I finally beat this game, it took a while but I freaking did it. Anyway, I have owned this game since the release but actually not played it more than an a hour. All I noticed was the big different from Jak and Daxter: the precurser legacy and that was not for my liking at that time so I put it on the bookshelf and didn´t touch until now.

So there´s a huge difference between this game and the first. First of all there are all these missions kinda like GTA missions, you´ll need to complete to progress in the game. Not only is that the big change but Jak also speaks, he can turn into a dark eco monster and wreck havoc but you also get to play with guns which is pretty neat.

The story is as follows, Jak, Daxter, Samos and Kiera(?) use a transport through a precursor gate and ends up in a different timeline, Jak gets arrested and expiremented on with dark eco. However Daxter rescues Jak who has his mind on revenge and then the story continues on. I really liked the story with it´s twists and turns aswell as the other characters in the game, it really feels like they all have their own personality.

You could say that this is a GTA (Grand Theft Auto) game for kids which is awesome however don´t be mistaken by its cartoonish look that this game will be a walk through the park because the difficult can really be hard sometimes. It took me multiple tries to progress sometimes. Some lie in the gamemechanics that some enemies might shoot you while you are in the air which will make you loose momentum and fall down to your death and other was because the game was just plain difficult.

I thought to myself that it wouldn´t take that long to beat this game and man was I mistaken, this is a really big game and after sitting with this game like 7-8 hours I thought I was close to beat it and then I was told that I was only around 50% of the game. It doesn´t do me anything that the game was this big because of all the fun characters that roam this game. Something in this game kept me going on even tho it was long past bedtime for me.

Overall: 8,5
Verdict: This is a fun and difficult game (sometimes), with alot of supprises if you played the first one. It´s one of the better platform/sandbox games out there on the ps2. However sometimes I felt like throwing my controller into the tv because the game was kinda unfair with cheap shots from enemies or the difficulty became extremely hard.

Yey weekend!!

Finally weekend and time for some gaming. I started yesterday (Friday) with trying to complete Jak 2 however I only completed around 20% of the game, so now we´re up at 80% complete. I should be able to finish the game today (hopefully) and then you will be able to read the review of that game later.

The game that will be played after it will be Daxter for psp, that game takes place after Jak and Daxter and before Jak 2 and you play as Daxter. My plans for the future is to complete the whole Jak and Daxter series before moving on to a bigger game. However sometimes I might jump in and play other games as well, such as Mega Man, Donkey Kong Country or Conkers Bad Fur Day... or should I keep the Donkey Kong Country series as a marathon in the longplay theme... hm not sure just yet.

All I know is that it is soon summer vacation for me and then alot of things will happen here!! :D

Progress on Jak 2!

Yey finally we´ve made some progress in Jak 2. I had no clue that the game was that long, hopefully I will have it beaten in this weekend.

Hey some news about all! :D

Hey all, so yeah I´ve been bad at updating my youtube channel today, but tomorrow I will be playing Jak 2 for the next part, and maaaaybe I will play a new game aswell, not sure yet which one. It might be some Mega Man game because they rock. However lately for those who have missed it I have been playing the following games:

So here´s some info about upcoming games. I will continue on playing Jak 2, after that game is done I will be playing Daxter, and in the meantime I will also play shorter games such as Mega Man games, Donkey Kong Country and Resident Evil 2. I do really hope you guys enjoy watching my videos, reading my reviews and such because I do really enjoy writing/playing/uploading them.

Resident Evil (ps1 edition) Review

Resident Evil is one of my most played through series since the Sony Playstation era of gaming. It started all the way back in 1996, me and my family had been on a vacation to Swedens capitol, Stockholm. And almost everytime we went to Stockholm we came home with a new game me and my brother. This time it was Resident Evil. Me and my brother had no idea what we had just bought, I was only 9 years old and my brother was 13. So we put the disc in the playstation console, the loading screen started and we saw a man walking down a corridor looking behind his shoulder, screaming, the camera zooms in to his face and then blood sprayed the screen. My brother and I looked at eachother and smiled, we knew that this would be an awesome game right away.

Since then alot has changed for me, I´m no longer adventuring through each and every room, saving up ammo and health items and killing all enemies, lately I´ve been speedrunning this game until a year ago. I still enjoy playing this game because for me it´s a classic.

The story is as follows, an elite police force is trying to find clues about recent murders that´s happened around a forest in Raccoon City, however when their helicopter lands and they continue on foot they are forced by some monsters to run into a mansion located in the forest. Their goal is now to try to find an escape rout and find clues about what happened to the people who lived in the mansion.

The player gets to choose character, and the choice is between Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine. Depending on who the player choose the game difficulty alters. If the player chooses Jill, the game gets easier by adding more inventory slots, a grenade launcher aswell as fewer enemies. If the player chooses Chris it will be more difficult with fewer inventory slots, more enemies and no grenade launcher, however Chris can take more damage than Jill.

The voice acting in this game is so bad it´s been nominated as one of the worst voice acting in video games. However the music really sets the tone for this survival horror game. You do really feel alone and scared when the tones sets in.

Overall: 7.5
Verdict: This is the base of survival horror, it´s here everything started, the voice acting sucks but hey man it´s a game from 1996 so who cares, try this out, you will not be disappointed. And if you feel like you wanna try out a newer version of this game then check out Resident Evil HD Remake (PC, Xbox one, PS4 with more).

Mega Man 10 Review

Mega Man is one game series that´s been with me my whole life. Starting from Mega Man 2 which was one of the first games that I played to Mega Man legacy collection. Mega Man 1-4 was awesome, 5 and 6 not so much, 7 and 8 kinda sucked however Mega Man 9 was awesome so my hopes for number that was pretty high. And I can´t say that it failed to live up to my high hopes. This is all an old school Mega Man fan would want in a Mega Man game, sure some of the bosses are kinda wierd (looking at you Sheep Man) but in the overall it´s an awesome game.

So the story for the 10th time are that there are a virus which only affects robots (I think) and there´s no cure except for some that our dear Dr. Wily has. Anyway Mega Mans pal Roll (I think that´s her name) gets sick and it´s up to Mega Man to save her and the rest of the world by putting an end to Dr. Wilys plans.

This time around there is still 8 robot masters (bosses) and they are all unique in their presentation and mechanics, and it never gets old spanking some bad robot masters. The game is really challenging for newcomers, however this time the developers have added a difficult setting but the easy setting is only recommended for newcomers cause it will prove no challenge for Mega Man veterans. You can also play as Bass and Proto Man, they both have different attacks than Mega Man and should prove enough challenge for oldcomers as for newcomers.

Something that´s always been good in Mega Man games are the music and man Capcom still got it, it´s fresh but it feels old (in a good way) with the 8-bit sound. The environments differs from all 8 robot masters (and Dr. Wilys castle) with alot of detail.

Overall: 9/10
Verdict: This is a true tribute to an old franchise, takes what made the old games great and did something new with it. If you have a sweet spot for Mega Man then this is the game for you.

Robocop vs Terminator Review

Here´s the thing with this game, I owned this game for my SNES since the release. I got it as a christmas present, and sure I did enjoy the game back then but it wasn´t until I played it again now in later years that I fully appreciated the game. It´s maybe not the best game out on the retro market but it is without doubt one of the better with Robocop and Terminator.

Well if I were to come to the "thing" about this game, well Robocop vs Terminator was released for NES, SNES, Master System aswell as Genesis and in each port of the game it´s a new game. Sure it still has the same story, Robocop is the good guy, turns on Skynet, feel bad, destroy skynet and saves the day. However the level design is different and some of the gameplay and weapons. I haven´t tried out the Master System version (yet), but in the Genesis version Robocop moves faster, its more blood, different weapons from SNES and NES. But and pretty big BUT, the game feels broken on the Genesis version (which could´ve been the best port of the game) because you die so freaking easy by getting hit by an enemy and that´s not from the projectiles that they shoot, oh no, it´s by touching them. You can´t even see how fast the health bar gets drained by doing that. And on some bosses you need to jump over them but it´s pretty much impossible to jump over them because you will touch em and die. The action however is spot on (if it weren´t that bosses can take miljon hits before dying).

However on the SNES and NES versions of the game it´s more slowpaced, and kinda difficult aswell but it doesn´t let the player think it´s impossible which is an great deal for wanting to come back to the game (hell I´m already thinking about running through the game once more on both SNES and NES).

The graphics for the game is standard for that era but it´s small things that make me put a smile on my face, as an example the sound that comes from Robocop as he walks is the same as in the movie (nice touch there).

I would actually recommend this game and not only one port but atleast the three ports I´ve played, yeah Genesis port is somewhat broken BUT it´s still fun (and yeah there´s cheat codes which is almost necessary to progress through the game at a certain point). But I would as I mentioned earlier actually recommend this game because it´s freaking awesome, fun to play and puts a challenge for the player.

Overall: 7,5
Verdigt: It´s a fun retro game with nostalgic feelings written all over. Difficult but not impossible (atleast on SNES and NES without cheat codes). Try it out if you were a big fan of those two big movie screen robots, but don´t expect to be blown away.

Youtube channel!

My youtube channel is something I have started working more on now lately, I'm trying to add at least one video daily instead of one video per week/month (yeah I know I suck). So lately when I stream games I do it because of I'm going to upload it later on to YouTube, that is full playthroughs of games. Recently I have uploaded fully played games such as Jak and Daxter, castlevania bloodlines and robocop vs terminator for the Genesis console. And currently I'm playing Jak 2: renegade, my goal is to beat that game tomorrow and having the last video uploaded at the latest Saturday.

The reason for this is because I love watching all these game videos on YouTube myself and I want to contribute my gaming experience to the world and also I have a great gaming collection with games that I haven't beaten yet and this is a way for me to beat those games.

Castlevania: Bloodlines Review

I have always been a great fan of Castlevania games except those for the n64 and later. However I have only beaten a few Castlevania games such as Symphony of the night and Aria of Sorrow/Dawn of sorrow. But now I thought to myself, why not tro beating an older Castlevania game, and so my journey took me to the Genesis console for an attempt at a bloodier Castlevania game.

So at the beginning you´ll get to choose between two heroes, one from the Belmont clan (I think) and another one from italy... or was it spain(?). Anyway the first one has the classic whip (vampire killer) and the second has a spear/lance weapon. I played as Eric, the one with the spear and man was he fun character to play as. You had to rethink your way of playing Castlevania, because his weapon was different and he also could do a high jump by sitting on the ground to charge it up.

However, the story is something like the usual, someone is trying to ressurect Dracula, I´m not sure why and it´s up to our two main protagonist to stop her (yeah it´s a woman this time around). But it´s here where things get interesting, instead of going through Draculas Castle (like we´ve done multiple times) we´re going out in europe, visiting places such as Greece, Germany and France. This is kinda cool seeing places in dark and twisted Castlevania style.

This is also one of the easier game, much because of the choice of difficulty (easy, normal and hard). This was not a step down from earlier games this was more like a fine addition because old Castlevania games are known to be somewhat difficult. This made it more easy for newcomers to pick up the game and expierence it from the beginning to the end.

The controller was also better, most because of the jump mechanic. In this game the player actually could steer the avatar while jumping which made it easier making those difficult jumps. Also the multiple directions you could attack was also a nice addition which made it even easier killing hard hitting enemies like medusa heads.

Overall: 9

Verdict: Castlevania Bloodlines, serves as a nice addition to the Castlevania series. It´s one of the better games from the past. Easy for newcomers, difficult for veterans. It is a must have for any game collector!

Jak and Daxter: the precursor legacy review

Hey guys, so recently I have been playing an game that I enjoyed playing as a kid however I never finished it when I was young. I don´t know the reason, I came far into the game and I loved those kinds of games, platforming games such as Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64 and Banjo & Kazooie. But something in this game made me stop playing it.

However when I restarted playing Jak and Daxter now I fell in love with those kinds of games again. I remember the feeling of exploration, the feeling of joy when finding a missing precursor orb or the feeling of anger when the camera fails to follow the character and you die...

Anyway, the story is as follows, Jak and Daxter explores an Island where there are dark eco (eco is the energy of the world of Jak and Daxter), and Daxter trips and falls down in a pool of dark eco which transform him to a weasle type of creature. Their goal is to find a dude which can transform Daxter back to human form however this dude is none other than the games antagonist.

Controlling Jak and Daxter flows usually... the controls can feel outdated and robot like but thats mostly by the cost of the camera, the camera failed me multiple times when I tried to make narrow jumps or battling enemies. This was probably the reason I put the game down in a box.

However, each time I progressed in the game the more I wanted to play it, I was looking forward to see how the game ended because I know there are two more games in this series so I really wanted to know how this part ended.

If you are a gamer who liked the old platforming games like the ones I mentioned earlier then you will love Jak and Daxter: the precursor legacy. I can really recommend this game for everyone.

Overall: 8
Verdict: Stiff camera controls drag the game down but awesome characters, fun platforming and interesting story makes it worth it for the player to play this adventure.

Sweet Sweet memories from childhood!

What I mean with sweet memories from my childhood is that when I was growing up I didn´t have the oppertunity to buy all new games (duh) so some games I played more than other when growing up. And when I play them again now I kinda get back into being the 10 year old me again. Some games that have that magic within them are Mega Man 4, Resident Evil 1 and 2, Donkey Kong Country 1-3 and 64, Mario 64, Star Wars Shadow of the Empire, Final Fantasy 7 and 8, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the past, Ocarina of Time and also Little Big Adventure 1.

The reason I brought this up is because yesterday (sunday), I was streaming Resident Evil 2 almost the whole day (with some exceptions because I had to eat or do the laundry) and when I played it again I was mentally coming back to my childhood. That is a feeling of joy and excitement, a feeling long lost forgotten nowadays when I play video games. I kinda feel like the retro games has more fantasy, more creativity and more dreams in them than the new ones. And yes I really do miss the good old days of video games, the time when you couldn´t go online searching for wikis or walkthrough, the time when you progressed in a game it was all you (most of the time that is).

Anyway I fell for Resident Evil yesterday and now I will play all the resident Evil games that I own. Lets see if we can fix a timeline in this blogg how all the games are connected.

Starting off the timeline is as follows:

Resident Evil 0, in this game we get to follow the stars rookie team member Rebecca as she is traveling through an abandoned training facility with a condemn ex military man named Billy. This is the start of the terror to follow our heroes in Resident Evil.

Resident Evil, The first game released in 1996, here we follow Jill and Chris through their desperate attempts to flee but also finding the horrifying truth about the mansion. (Here I will play both original and HD remaster, with both characters).

Resident Evil 2, this time the focus changes to a new police officer named Leon and a girl in search of her brother named Claire Redfield. The Raccoon City is infested with murderous creatures. (I will play all four scenarios + Hunk scenario).

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Taking place at the same location as Resident Evil 2 but now we will follow Stars member Jill Valentine through her attempt to escape the infested city.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica (HD), Claire is still searching for Chris which takes her to an umbrella training site, shit hits the fan and the island is being invaded by zombies.

Resident Evil 4, Leon is now working directly under the president and are now tasked to find and rescue the presidents daughter, he will find out that the european village aint a friendly town.

Resident Evil: Revelations, Jill is trying to find Chris who has gone missing after a mission. This takes her to a boat out in the atlantic sea.

Resident Evil 5, Chris has gone to Africa to put an stop to an illegal deal with B.O.W. and Jill is pressumed dead. To his help he has the local agent Sheva.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Claire finds herself on an island captive again but this time she gets help by Barry Burtons daughter Moira Burton.

Resident Evil 6, Leon finds himself trapped on a university filled with Zombies, he had to shot the president aswell, Chris is suffering from amnesia and a bit of alcoholism and are trying to fix the past by chasing after Ada Wong, Sherry Birkin tries to get Weskers son Alex to safety because he has the a cure for the new virus, Ada Wong is trying to find out why someone is using her name and identity.

So these are the games that I will be playing nowadays at my stream, enjoy! =D
